unfriendly staff extra charges
The staff lacked basic hospitality skills. Most interactions felt transactional. They charged me for a small stain on a towel that was barely noticeable. It seemed like they were actively looking for ways to extract more money from guests. The manager's response was dismissive when I tried to discuss the charge.

The restaurant staff were very attentive, and that was acceptable.
My room's air conditioning was noisy. Sleeping was difficult because of it. The towels also felt quite old. I expected better quality.

the staff was lovely! i especially liked the attentiveness i received. the room was clean and very cozy. it included nice toiletries. i found the complimentary refreshments to be a nice bonus.
The towels were not of great quality. They did not fully meet my expectations for a hotel of this kind.

limited breakfast selection constant street noise
The breakfast was a disappointment. the selection felt limited, and the quality wasn't great. I expected more variety! also. The noise levels were problematic. I could hear street noise quite loudly, even from my room on a higher floor. it was hard to relax with the constant sounds.
